Sure, if something is clearly wrong you can say it’s wrong. However, if your goal is to figure out what is right, and keep moving forward, you need to provide an answer. To me, it’s all about getting to the right answer, making progress and moving forward. Pointing out what is wrong without providing an alternative brings everything to a dead stop.
